Explore the natural life of Luxor on this amazing mid-day nature trip. Relax aboard a traditional Felucca, sailing boat, watch the birds, farms, walk around Banana Island “an island covered in banana plantations”. Come back with views of the sunset behind the West Bank hills. With door-to-door transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle. Lunch or dinner at the restaurant on the island is included.

What to expect

Stop 1: Nile River
Our expert Egyptology representative will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor in an air-conditioned car to transfer you to the pier where you will board the Felucca. Enjoy the scenery of Nile views all the way, observe real Egyptian life, pass by farmers’ fields with sugar cane as the main crop in Luxor.

Stop 2: Banana Island
Disembark at Banana Island, where your captain Felucca will take you for a walk around the island, covered by banana, mango and guava trees. See the pigeon tower and the old watering wheel. Enjoy a delicious meal at the island restaurant, eat a sweet banana for dessert.

Stop 3: Nile River
Sail back to the Nile side at sunset time, have a special hot Egyptian tea on board the Felucca. At the end of the tour we will return you to your hotel.

Departure details:

• Passenger pick-up service is offered from your Hotel in Luxor, train station or Luxor Airport (after coordination by email).

Arrival details:

• Passengers will be returned to the original departure point.
